I was thrilled to find some delicate honeysuckle flowers on a rainy January day. The beautiful pale blooms, together with the muted
colours of the sky and hedgerow inspired this piece. According to ancient plant lore, honeysuckle is a revealer of hidden paths
and is associated with wealth and abundance. With this in mind I chose to work my copper wire around a piece of Citrine, which is
a stone reputed to attract good fortune. I also wove in quartz, jasper and yellow jade as well as some pearls
and glass beads before giving the piece a lovely burnished patina. Length 18 Inches.
